About
This work is a media-archaeological investigation into the affective timing of live television news, and of the affective atmospheres that are amplified and distributed from the scene of events to remote viewers. In this work, a specific moment of latency in live television reportage of recent events–the ‘live cross’ from studio anchors to field-based reporters–has been collated from recordings of various 24 hour television channels, and extended through looping into a multi-channel composition.
